Our Telecare and Meals on Wheels service currently delivers over 1,600 meals a week. We provide hot, nutritious meals that cater for a variety of diet requirements and cultural needs. Our affordable service is available for all residents of Cardiff providing they meet the criteria.
Telecare Cardiff is a 24-hour telephone link to our community alarm and response unit that allows you to stay safe and independent in your home. Serving over 4,500 customers across the city, this vital service is a lifeline to so many people living on their own as well as to couples and families.
Simply pressing the button on your pendant or response unit will connect you directly to our friendly team who will be able to speak to you through the loudspeaker on the unit. The team will take immediate action to help you, 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year. This could include contacting a family member, a doctor, a carer or the emergency services.
Telecare Cardiff is more than just a push button alarm, with additional sensors that can be placed throughout the home ensuring the service always meets your needs.
The cost of the equipment and subsequent monitoring will differ, taking into account the following factors;
· If you are in receipt of any means tested benefits
· If you have quoted a promotional code
· If you have requested Social Services to fund the equipment cost
· The level of service requested, £3.60 per week for Contact Only and £6.43 per week for Mobile Response

Meals on Wheels is available for all residents of Cardiff and eastern parts of the Vale of Glamorgan including Dinas Powys, Sully, Llandough, Penarth and Wenvoe providing they meet the criteria.
